How Can You Change Your Life If You're Afraid of Change?

Copyright (c) 2011 Willie Horton

With more than fifteen years working in the field of personal development so under my belt, I came to the conclusion that everyone wants to change his life, or be changed. If you Google 'personal development' or 'Self Improvement', you will reach the same conclusion. However, you may not need to prove himself, "after all, has a very good chance that you are not 100% satisfied with any of your life or yourself. Most people do not like their job. Most people worry about the weight loss novcu.Industriji profitability proof of life, people often struggle with their weight. i Google the financial freedom 'and you'll be amazed at the number of sites that promise riches beyond your wildest dreams' guaranteed or your money back! the truth is that we are suckers for a quick and easy way to change our lives. Maybe this is because for years the psychological research suggests that we are actually hard-wired to fear of taking big steps that we think should be taken to change our lives.

We are creatures of habit. That's how we built. By the age of two months - yes, months, not years - we fall prey to what psychologists call habituation. We are accustomed to what we have experienced and we pay little or no attention after that - novelty has worn off. And at the age of two or three, we became aware of the danger, looking for new adventures, new situations, new people. At the time we have 'matured (and I'm not sure that this is the right word for the type of behavior we see every day) in adults, we have become enshrined in our little cocoon. We call this our life -. But, in fact, it just goes on for survival

One of the key consequences of getting used to stop paying attention to things we do regularly in our lives. However, sooner or later, everything becomes routine - so we end up paying attention to anything. Crucially, the research shows that its ability to be happy and successful - and, here, I'm assuming that the changes you want to see in your life will lead to your happiness and success - directly relates to your ability to pay attention.

a result of our inability to pay attention, the result of our repeated behaviors and influence our understanding that there is concern in new or unfamiliar things boxes us in life that is a pale shadow of life that we might live. But ask the next person you meet how they work, and chances are you'll happily answer is "not bad" or "not so bad!" In my opinion, not bad not good enough - what is the point of going through life in a sort of comfort zone that you are too embarrassed enough to do anything about

?

The point is that you want to change your life, but you are afraid of change! Now, there is no reason you should feel upset or captured this conundrum - because the human condition, this is the way we are. However, this does not mean that it is the way to remain. Why should you settle for survival, when the joy and excitement of life truly lived before your very eyes, if you want to go to the trouble of opening them? I have already mentioned that, like normal adults, we pay attention to anything. I also mentioned that paying attention to the correlation between your happiness. You must re-learn skills that you used as a child to pay attention to what is actually happening here and now.

Ever heard the worn out saying you've got to stop to smell the roses? Well, that's exactly what you've got to do. Normal daily routines anaesthetizes mind - we ended up wandering through a meaningless life. To break the cycle of mindless, you have come to your senses. I mean this literally - you really do not have to stop and really smell the roses. You have to actually stop in their tracks - you call the attention - and reveal a reality that is happening right before your eyes. You've got to see the opportunities that numbed the mind can not see. Do you feel lucky heart a special moment that the normal mind is believed to be routine. You have to wake up.

When - or if - you wake up, you realize that there is no such thing as a fear that the change you want in your life is something we should look to open the details of your everyday life. Find in it, you will realize how easy it is to actually change your life. What do I mean by this? Well, your present life is a composite score every little thing you've done, half done or mindlessly do not really do it all - stretching all the way back to late childhood. Every little thing you've ever done in my life has brought you to where you are now. The point is that the little things that will change your life - not a great awe, startle,-life-out-of-you dare change that you make. In other words, there is nothing to fear.

So, if you want to change your life, here is a simple pointer. Make small changes first. Small changes disrupt your addiction and demand that you start to pay attention to what you're doing - but the routine might be thinking what you are doing. For example, you can brush your teeth tonight with a party that does not normally use. Mess with your mind, the mind is messing with you all my adult life - and it's got a far from perfect place. If you come to your senses, to start paying attention to little things in your life, you will find yourself effortlessly - Yes, I said no effort! - Start to make major changes that would normally otherwise fear. And once you start changing, you have a place in a whole new world that, although all the time, will open your eyes to the possibilities of life and opportunities.

Life is a Game

look at my life in another perspective. Have you thought about your life is the best game you will ever play? We usually associate the game with a soccer game, video games, card games and whatever game you would think. Life is a game. This is a MMORPG game called Second Life. In fact, at this moment while reading this are already in the game in the universe. the moment you are born into this world, you have inadvertently selected for the game.

In the game Second Life, you can do anything and everything you want including flying and teleporting. Unfortunately, we can not do in real life. Take it around and put it into reality. play real-life game where we do not have a second chance, there is no reset button, no second or third life. There are many ways a sign of trouble, you can choose in life, May you be a slacker, no one vulgar, artist, police officer, farmer, a successful food chain operator, millionaire, billionaire, and so on ...

In real life, you can also choose to be any character you want to be. Because you have a choice. One good thing about this real-life game allows you to change your difficulty level of any point of time. From space, you can instantly change to become a millionaire. (With hard work, of course)

Sometimes I wonder why some people are hooked on playing video games, when one of the most difficult game to play as their own lives. Is it because, in video games, they are endlessly second likely to be again as life does not offer that opportunity again?

If you're ready to play this game in real life. Imagine yourself as a warrior character in the RPG game, you start as a noob with no experience. (This is when the young) as you fight to overcome certain obstacles in life, you gain experience and level up. At any point of time you want to change their ultimate goal is just to change and work towards it.

Life has many phases as well as video games. Each stage seems to be stronger and ready for the next level. Life is that way too. It prepares you, makes you stronger, so that when you reach your goals or dreams, you are well prepared to keep it.

I hope you're not too confused with the other side of life. Think about it. What level you play your game of life? What is to stop now? Modified to play the game.

Pushing Through Your Comfort Zone

Our biggest growth in life comes from pushing through our present comfort zone. This process begins at birth. child feels safe, warm and safe in the womb. However, to stay there much longer than the gestation period would mean certain death for both mother and child. Life began for all of us as we left the comfort and safety of the womb and faced the strange and unknown to the outside world. Our first breath is often a painful experience, a cry of protest at temporary discomfort. However, without this experience, our life will be short on time.

Each step of growth and success for your child involves leaving an existing comfort zone. first crawl, first step, many new, first experiences all push from the familiar into the unknown. For a child process of pushing through their area of comfort leads to increased independence and the creation of their unique personality and character.

This fundamental principle continues into adulthood. In order to enrich our lives, it is necessary to step out of our current comfort zone. Personal growth occurs when a person moves from their areas and comfort into the unknown and the challenge of a fresh experience. There is a stage of risk and discomfort before any significant growth in our life. For each of us comes to a point where we hold back and resist. It becomes easier to remain static and comfortable than to keep moving forward.

What holds us back?

Whenever we consider taking a new project or venture, or you would like to put out there, we feel fear. Fear is natural, and can be expected. It is our body's way of letting us know we are moving beyond our comfort zone. Fear can warn us of possible threats and dangers. However, unlike our cave men predecessors, many of the threats today are not life threatening. Fear can warn you and allow you to be more aware and careful, but we should not stop you progressing. If you want to move forward on the path to where you want to be, you will have to face your fears. Unfortunately, many people allow fear to stop them, and do not achieve their goals and aspirations.

Do not be afraid of not feeling comfortable, and many people want to avoid at all costs. Everyone experiences fear. People who want to be successful feel the fear and do it anyway! Fear is part of the package. Yes, there is always a risk of failure, but it should harmonize with the old adage: "Nothing ventured, nothing gained. " child's risk of falling when taking those first faltering steps is high. Still, what a transformation in the life of a child after they mastered the art of walking! Unlimited opportunities open up in a child's life. falls and tumbles are soon forgotten by the shadow of new adventures and experiences.

Pushing through to leave your comfort zone is hard work. Nature demonstrates that graphically for us. chick pecking itisway out of the shell ,a butterfly that is struggling with a sleeve ,show how this struggle is necessary in order to bring life ,growth and success .

The good news is that once we have before our fears and it was done in every case, we have moved forward to the new location. Every time we push through and live out of our comfort zone we will never be the same. Growth happens!

Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr., U.S. Supreme Court justice once said
"Man is mind, once stretched to new idea never returns to its original dimensions ."

I believe that this is true not only of our minds, but also that we as single people. Life moves into a new dimension through each experience we go through in life.

However, it is also possible that once we have pushed through our comfort zone into a new place of growth, we rest too long there, and create a different comfort zone!

Let's keep pushing through and moving forward to grow our uniqueness and live your life fully.
